new York fashion Week officially came to a close late last week, and now fashion editors and bloggers have moved on to London. We know you followed along with Vlad’s gorgeous street style coverage, now it’s time for us to go through thousands of runway photos to find the best footwear of the week.

The shoes on the spring 2017 runways ranged from minimalist silhouettes like mules and sandals to chunky flatforms. While we’ve seen mules and minimal sandals on the spring runways before, a couple of months back, vogue coined the term of the “nothing shoe” for spring 2017, and they basically hit the nail on the head when predicting this upcoming style. brands like Yeezy (especially Yeezy!) and Alexander Wang utilized perspex and lucite for a very stripped-down look.

Chunky flatforms, on the other hand, are a much edgier silhouette. brands like Coach, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Proenza Schouler all dared to elevate the flatform, and the results will probably elicit a lot of strong opinions.

Below, check out all the best footwear styles that hit the runways this past week!
